My Story
My Scentsy journey started years ago as a customer. Someone that our family knew was a consultant and I purchased my first warmer (antique cross) and a pumpkin roll wax bar. The bar that started it all (which is still available coincidentally) I loved Scentsy!! Throughout the years struggling financially Scentsy became an every once in a while thing for me because the money just wasn't there. 5 years would go by and I lost my consultant, didn't know who to call or where to get it. It wasn't until May of 2019 that I would be reconnected with Scentsy! They had an amazing sign up special for just $15 and I jumped on it because I didn't ever want to be without a way to get my favorite wax so I thought well if I sign up I can order from myself and make a commission off my own purchases! WIN WIN right? So I did just that. No intentions on "selling" Scentsy. Once I started telling my family and friends what I had done they were so excited because they too have lost touch with their consultant somewhere down the road so they placed their orders with me and then my friends got excited and started ordering and before you knew it I was running a little side business. I questioned myself daily. Trisha what are you doing? Trisha you don't know enough people to run a direct sales business. Trisha how are you going to do this? All the doubts came rolling in. It's normal. It's HUMAN!! after all the questioning and self doubt it started happening. My little side business was up and rolling right along. In September I went to Michigan to care for my mom and help my sister and my sister hosted a Scentsy home party for me to launch my business. I had never done a home party before. I was so nervous but it went great. From the party one of her guests hosted a party and from then on it was a domino effect. I was having home parties once a month. In February 2020 I started growing a team, one then two then three and now... well there's a few of us lol. I love it!! I absolutely love it!! I love the people I have met along the way, customers have turned into friends and teammates, I've promoted to director in one year, the blessings just keep coming and it's all because I chose to say YES!! My Scentsy business has been so fulfilling for me and has brought me so much joy in just the first year, I can't wait to see what the future brings as I continue my Scentsy journey..........to be continued
